I removed the rubber crank knobs from the window crank so they cranks could be re-chromed. The knob was held in place with a "shouldered" type pin. I ground off the tip for removal. Does anyone know the type fastener this is called and who a supplier may be? Is it called some form of impact rivet.? Approximately 5/8" to 3/4" full length with the narrow tip about 1/4" included in that total length. I will use two then have 98 to share since they probably come in quantities of 100.

I would JB Weld those and after insertion, stake the end with a center punch. Set them aside to cure and you should be good to crank.
