I've been getting a little carried away on cleaning random parts, bolts, nuts and screws!
I've been soaking them in evapo-rust and coating with Boeshield T-9.
This is fine for many of the parts and is working very well with no rust re-appearing.

I'm just doing a few window components and headliner hardware and see that they are supposed to have a zinc plating? Should I go this extra step on these parts that are never seen again and already look pretty good? Or will they last just as well with what I am already doing? They don't look perfect but are clean, rust free and protected (T-9).

I'm doing an in-depth full restoration and plan to always keep the car (won't sell it) and store it in the garage.

I'm doing the same thong and will never sell either but I'm not going to
plate everything to factory spec. I'm shooting everything with thinned down
epoxy primer, and then Martin Senior Stainless Steel paint from a rattle
can. (Good Stuff!) The epoxy seals the metal so rust doesn't form. Just
like you said, It'll be in the garage. Good luck with the project!

I'll for sure plate things correctly where shown but none of these are.
I'm just curious if I should be adding the zinc (or paint) over just the T-9 to make it last better?
Don't want to not take this step and find out 20 years from now I have a rusted up mess!

YOU are the one that has to be happy with the results, but from now on,
you are going to treat this car like a Gem!
 
What parts do you think need clear zinc in those pictures? Headliner tack strips remind me that they used a galvanized steel. No way to replicate that.
The big window frame is aluminum or pot type metal. The hardware and tracks are all natural, at least on my 67 they were. I have a local plater that does small batch clear zinc and he can simulate yellow dichromate. I do all my own parkerizing, zinc phosphate at home. Most fasteners are phosphate, electric fasteners are typically clear zinc. Everything you have there would just get EvapoRust’d and protected.

I have the zinc phosphate solution too!
To me it seemed these pieces had a light charging and after looking at moparnation thread, I assumed that coating was zinc.
I'm thinking I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for now.
Doesn't seem like these pieces need to be anything better, they're inside the door and with the Boeshield they shouldn't rust.
 
bioshield will not last
No rust "preventor" is permanent. Boeshield T9 or ECS's RPM for that matter. That said, I have put over 2500 mile on my Bee this Summer, as well as a fair amount of road miles last Fall and nothing RPM'd is showing any signs of rust YET. If my 4 post hoist ever arrives I'll be putting it in the air and lightly spraying everything that's bare with T9, as once assembled it would be pretty impossible to heat and recoat with RPM.

As for the OP's question....are you sure those headliner teeth aren't Galvanized? The other parts do what ever you think is best. At 58 years old I surely hope I'm never inside my doors again with the years I have left, after that it's #1 Son's problem!

Maybe I should ask:
- what is the original finish on these pieces (headliner teeth, window components). they all appear to have a similar light coating maybe it is a galvanized coating I don't know?
- should I paint them or leave them raw with Boeshield (I did not remove the coatings just whatever came off from the evaporust and my scrub pad. So they are not entirely wrong per say).

I don't imagine I will ever be back inside these doors either.

Maybe I will just get some paint and go that route for peace of mind
 
these coatings might leach thru and stain the head liner

I'll remove the coatings and paint them with a zinc. But I'll do it later and before installing them
It looks to me like the window regulators themselves all seem to have maybe cosmoline on them.
