First Ever recorded in Maine! Great White

They bite for 2 reasons. 1. predatory (territory and food) and 2. Inquisitive (taste test)
unfortunately with humans and great whites (or most sharks of any size likely) both types of bites are most often fatal! As mention mistaken identity (most likely predatory) the water here isn’t clear. On certain days I think the best way to describe it is like a watered down pea soup with floaties!
Those are 2 huge Great whites above. But I can say the one I saw wasn’t that big or my dry suit would never have got clean! But they are massive in person!
As I started the thread...”unlucky” can you imagine being the first recorded fatal in Maine? That is truly sad and unlucky!
