Around a month ago found a seller on eBay selling the 1.5 flame thrower coil in US$29.99. The cheap price seemed to me suspicius along with the seller name, location (Sry Lanka/Texas ???), low ammount of sales. However buyers seemed to be satisfied with their products. With my personal situation at this moment took the risk for the price.

I provided a shipping address in Tx to a friend of mine house. I’ll take care to get it shipped to Vzla later (where my Charger is still). I don’t need it now.

After a week the seller provided me (and to eBay) an ALREADY DELIVERED tracking number with a package weighting 39 lbs. WHAT THE HELL? He told me was delivered on a wrong address but he was handling another package. However he never gave me the tracking number for the second package, just a picture as a proof of delivery at my buddy’s house (he was traveling due his job at the moment of the delivery)

Well yes, the second package arrived, with a diff name on package than the one I provided, on an Amazon Prime package.

Seems to be legit but everything suspicious. The box wasn’t really in good conditions. Coil was in fact out of the box (broken box) into the bubble wrap amazon prime
envelope.

What do you think?

(Didn’t know these coils were made in China?)

China, isn't that where everything is made?

There have been a lot of counterfeit performance parts. Like MSD stuff.

The knock off business is ruthless. I won't buy performance parts off of Amazon or Ebay anymore. I either go straight to the manufacturer, buy it from Summit Racing or go without it.

that looks just like mine which has worked fine... got mine on amazon for... $29 :)

When I tracked packages in the past, I have run across tracking numbers that were re-used and that confused me also, but the package did arrive like yours.

Many are found to be stock style coils in performance branded boxes with racy stickers on the coils.

possible.. but stuff usually sold by amazon not third party is pretty safe.... i know it's been making sparks happen for a year or so now without issue though :)

Out of curiosity, WHY, does it seem, that everyone is infatuated with FLAME THROWER COILS??? What is the significance....or is this never ending quest for the advertised 50+ hidden horse power obtained by just replacing the coil......and does have to be a Flame thrower coil....or has the Accel Supercoil fallen out of favor......

Sry Lanka, Texas sounds legit....it's not far from Dubai, Nevada.
