Hello all

I have a small block stroker 360 out to 408 in which I have cracked the flexplate (727)
Question is with out dropping the trans would I be right in assuming it is still an external balanced item and the bolt patten is 6 bolt

thanks in advance

B

The flex plate is neutral balanced as long as it is the stock unit because the weights are on the torque converter. If an aftermarket flexplate (B&M etc..) is used it could be balanced. If your stroker was balanced when it was built, and the flexplate was adjusted, you might have to have the new plate rebalanced.
