Flip top gas cap

I'm in the mood to ruffle some feather. lol:poke:

Has anybody seen a flip top gas cap from either a GTX or Challenger (70's or current gen) on Coronets or other models.

What kind of effort would it take to change it? I am guessing it would be easiest to just find an old quarter from said model and cut it out and weld it in place.
 
Does the ring just bolt onto flat sheetmetal, or is it recessed? Are you talking about the '67 model? You'd have to fill the hole where the gas door is, might need a longer filler neck for the tank...

It does have a different filler neck for sure. But I am not sure of how much if any recess there is on the panel itself.

Yes more specifically the '67 but any model in general. Even a bodies.
