I am starting to flush mount my front and rear glass on my 68 Coronet. I have a good idea on how it will go but was wondering has anyone tried this or came across pic of this?
Thanks for the input

a few have done this on the pro-touring.com forum mostly with chebbies, I find it very unlikely any of the mopar purists here will do it.
HAHA just stirring

more info please

i had asked this question a few times before on different forums. I saw a cuda at Charlotte Goodguys last year that impressed the crap out of me. it had the flush windshield. I would really like to do this on my 68 RR. cannot really find information on this. would really like to know.
thanks

Here's a link to info on a kit a guy was selling...for Chevy's. Basically, you need a larger glass like he was selling, or you need to bring in the opening of your window frame so the glass fits almost snug with little gap. The base of the frame (the flat part the window weight is on) needs to be perfectly flat, and raised so the window would sit flush with a bead of glue under it. The window is glued to this. Then the gap that's left is filled with a flush mount rubber trim like you see on modern cars.
