I used to go to the shootout at the lake of the ozarks every year, a friend helped run it, so I participated once. This whole boat thing is a suckers bet if you get air under your boat, even at 80 with the right boat, and water conditions. Fun to watch, big boys with big toys.

Honestly, it's a good thing it stayed in the air as long as it did, really shaved a lot of speed before it made contact with the water, I have seen far different outcomes.
