FML! The Snows Have Arrived

We are leaving on Sunday for a 17 day road trip starting in Vegas and obviously hoping for nice weather. Going to the Sema show in Vegas, then driving to Fort Bragg and hook up with Pacific Coast Highway. Done it many times but never gets old!
Do you need studded tires or chains when you head East? Or are you flying to Vegas, renting a car and flying home?

Sounds like a nice road trip

It's snowing in Colorado tonight and Sunday. A low of 14 degrees tonight. If it works out stop here on your way back.

86 here.....way above normal but it's supposed to be way below normal by morning....

The way the sun works here at 7500, the temperatures were way below freezing but whatever the sun could hit melted quickly. There's not enough atmosphere to filter the sun. The worst sunburn I ever saw was when I was skiing at Aspen with this light-completed blonde girl. After the first day, she blistered and her eyes swelled shut. It's the same thing in summer, that's why on cloudy days you need a jacket here. Not enough atmosphere to keep the heat in.
