This engine is the best you can get. Built by Dale Reed of Baldwin Park CA. (Dale's Place) He built ALL of Bob Mosher's engines. But, the engine was previously built by Gerry Goodale (SMS) of Rubidoux CA. Heads were ported by Tony Siemore. Crank was selected from 3 or 4 cranks. Eagle H-beam rods. A&A cross ram set up. Dry Sump Milodon oil tank. Was going into my 63 dodge but family illness forces sale. Recipts available and I will post them. I personally have $8,500 in build. Has been rotated frequently. Engine has been broken in by Dale Reed.
I am selling due to family member illness and moving from California to Rhode to be near med facilities and Family for support.
Selling for $8,500. You will not be disappointed. PS: That is Mr. Dale Reed who was very proud of this engine. PM for more info. More pics to come.
Location: 90 miles north of Los Angeles. 70 miles east of Bakersfield CA. California City CA 93505.

Sorry to hear about the sickness in your family.
Must be serious to necessitate moving from California to Rhode Island.
Big Hugs to you and your family.

First and foremost, sorry to hear of your family illness. My sincere thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Will you be taking the engine to R.I. ?

:praying: for you and your family, first off. Nothing more important than that....
Good luck with the sell of what looks like one hell of an impressive engine.

I have just been informed the engine has an external wet Sump...not dry as I had told you. Sorry for my stupidity John.

Very interested in the engine but no response

My girl friend has Alzheimers and she hides things...All keys for the 2018 Longhorn Cummins and Shelby GT500 and Tundra have disappeared, had to spend $2K to get new "Keys" if you call them keys anymore, now my Back Binder for the Black 63 Polara is missing along with all receipts. I will find it...
The engine has BEST of everything, originally built as 440 by Jerry Goodale (SMS Engineering, Roubidoux CA for a friend whom I purchased the Superbee form, he put $8,500 into it) He left (USAF) to someplace, left the engine. I picked up a 63 Polara and had the car done (Body) but Candy came down in 2020 with Dientia...BUT: I took the engine to Dale Reed. he refused to do any work on anyone else's work. But Told him Jerry Goodale and he said he'd lookout it.He took it apart, went through everything..Steel H-Beam Rods, Best pistons, Valve train, At SMS Tony Siemore did the porting on the heads...I have $8500 into it. 9.6 Compression, Street gas. Looking for the Black Binder to post for any interested the details on the engine. I know the original guy who I helped get it built had $3,000 in head porting alone. This is me putting the original build (Jerry Goodale, SMS engineering into the Bee before I owned the Bee as my Bud who owned the Bee and Engine went to another USAF assignment. He was doing a Pro Mod build. I later bought the bee from him, with original 383 (auto)
