when I purchased my charger someone had already converted it to front disc using factory parts which is where my question comes in. I purchased all new calipers, rotors etc for a 73+ B body, everything matched what was on it but there is a clearance issue. The caliper will hit the sway bar mount if mounted on the front and the brake line bolt will hit if on the back. I don't have a pitman or idler arm on it right now (I bought fast ratio that wouldn't clear the headers) so maybe with them on there they will limit the travel enough. They where mounted on the rear when I bought it. Anybody do this swap before?

I rear mounted the calipers on mine. If you use the correct calipers clearance will not be an issue.

the caloper goes toward the back of the wheel once there is weight on the tire you should not have any problem with clearance

x3 for the caliper to the rear.

make sure you have the newer spindles as well as the other parts.pst mentions you need them for clearance issues on the quick ratio steering.(link to the right)

Not sure I'm following you on the clearance issues. The problem I had was that the fast ratio arms were longer pushing the steering linkage into the headers. Thanks
