fuel filler neck

guys just wondering is the fuel filler pipe from gas cap to tank removable without removing the fuel tank in a 68 charger.

need to weld a bung in for a return fuel line.

also if you know where would be the most appropriate place to weld in the fuel return line bung?

noone knows if you can safely pull the filler neck out without removing the tank?

Been a while since I've owned a 2nd gen Charger but I think you have to atleast loosen and lower the tank abit. I have to on Challengers and they or kinda the same.

i dont see why not.as long as you can unbolt and remove the cap assembly from the fender then the filler should just pull out.
