Can anyone tell me how to wire a fuel gage on a 69 satellite. Wires are connected to sending unit. But nothing on the gage, Has 2 posts on gauge and can't find wires?

No wires hook to the gauge. They attach to the printed circuit board through the round multi pin connecter.

Should I start by replacing sending unit or is there a way to test the circuit?

If you ground the fuel sending unit wire the gauge should peg. Don't leave it grounded too long; just long enough to see it move is fine. Does your temp gauge work? You can ground the sensor wire to test that as well. If nothing happens it's possible the voltage limiter is bad. This is the little metal box that plugs into the circuit board and limits the voltage to about 5V for the gauges.

The temp gauge is not hooked up, I have a aftermarket mounted under dash. The only thing working is lights. Im in the middle of engine replacement from a 318 to 440 and nothing left under hood, replaceing some wireing (cleaning up engine compartment) will try circuit later. Thanks for the help!
