Back in the late '70s early '80s when good premium fuel (leaded) was a problem and water injections kits became a short lived rage, I used two vacuum switches (because they were adjustable) from the "Fuel Pacer System", along with the windshield washer pump and reservoir to create my own two stage water injection system. Used it on my '67 GTX. It worked fine at suppressing detonation, but did not really enhance performance.
