Recommendations for fuel pump push rod needed to complete engine build. Plan on using Holley 12-440-11 mechanical fuel pump. Engine block is 1974 I believe the correct fuel pump push rod length is 3.220
WTB and get one from someone that has an OE kicking around. My 156,000 mile OE is still full spec length!!
Make sure it measures 3.220 or real close. Definitely do not buy a Howards Cams. This one only has 1k miles on it.
Seems as though you could case harden one yourself. I have a friend that does steel treating, I'll bet he could take almost any of these purchased parts and make one pretty indestructable.
I’ve had several oem ones wear out. It seems there was a good amount of time where the factory replacements weren’t hardened very thoroughly either. Yeah, don't get the Comp one or the Howard's one either. My 440 ate both like candy. Mopar part number: 2463921 A couple places still have them.
