I'm wanting to relocate the Holly fuel pump that is in the trunk but I'm limited on under car space. I know it has to be mounted upright and preferably not in the trunk, as the previous owner did. I was looking at under the car on the curved part of the trunk just above the back of the gas tank. Is this a good idea or is it too close to the differential? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Really don't want to keep it in the trunk but if that's the only option, I'll do it.

I made a mount for mine from a header collector collar. Bent over one ear and mounted it to the fuel tank hanger bolt. The other 2 ears are used to mount the pump. Fit perfectly in my 69 B body.

Nutz4spd, That is where I mounted mine on a 65 Belvedere. That was in 2004. Still there.
I also have a mini Holley Mighty Mite electric fuel pump mounted in the same place on my 63.
