I have to replace the mechanical fuel pump on a 360. Engine is mild - .509 hyd roller, stock compression, 750 carb, headers. The choices seem to be several brands around $20 and several brands around $120. I'm not racing it around, but I want reliability. Do I need to throw $120 at it, or will a $20 carter or spectra do the job? Any opinions?

I just installed a Spectra this morning on my 69 R/T , 30$. Disappointed that the bolts don't quite line up with the 3/8 ratchet/extension/socket combo. They give ya two gaskets in da box, probably cuz they know the bolt holes are smallish.
