Looking for a fuel sender for a 1966 Satellite.

Looking for an old factory unit that maybe you have laying around or?????

I have a new aftermarket but don't believe it is shaped correctly.

Thanks in advance
Ron

Ron,
Wish you luck.

My cars previous owner got tired of messing with the aftermkt ones, He broke down - ponied up and bought an nos .

And Im glad he did. it reads perfect

I just put an aftermarket pickup/sender in my 64 Fury. It was not shaped the same as original, which concerned me. It seems to work ok now, as the tank was filled after installation. I'm still hoping it will work ok as the level gets really low.... But I checked the gas gauge readings in 3 gallon increments as I added fuel to the tank after replacing it, and those seemed to be close enough to satisfy me.

You could build a test rack and compare the two side by side. Just need to extend the wire from the sending unit and ground them.

I have a vans auto unit in my charger it works fine

I made a proper post in the 66-67 section so if you have any help to share please post there.
Thanks Ron
