More planning and figuring ... my car has the leafs relocated to the frame rails, and a fuel cell in the trunk. Does anyone know if I can fit a stock fuel tank under the car or do I need to stick with a fuel cell?

Thanks,

Bob

I relocated the springs on my 70 Bee and also put in a standard fuel tank, it fits fine with plenty of room. I am still working on the car and think that I may have a problem with the exhaust. I am a long way from knowing if it is going to be a problem, but it looks like it might. Let us know how it goes.

Well there's a problem I hadn't thought of. I think that would be a major problem for me since we have safety inspections here and they want the exhaust exiting in the factory position.

I'm a long way from that myself, but I'm nearing the point of either welding up the sump hole in the trunk floor or not. Sounds like I might just let it go as is and install a bigger cell instead, if there's no way around the safety inspection issue.
