Ok this is probably somewhere but I couldn't find it. What do you have to have off the car to get a full trunk pan into a 68 charger. Can you get it in with the quarter off? Do you need the tail pan off? wheel wells? Please let me know your experiences with full and half pan installations.

quarter skin and wheelhouse works.

I just so happened to need both of these things replaced on my 69RR so I went with the 1 piece, otherwise I would have went 2 piece.

Thanks, for the info. Now, who makes the best and most complete trunk pan. I know AMD makes great parts but, I have seen that the trunk pan stops short in the back. It does not have the 90 degree bend to attach to the rear valance. I see sherman makes one that looks like it has the bend, I just don't know about the gauge of steel and quality.

You can get a full pan in by pulling the tail panel which is pretty easy on the Charger.

that would be the best way to go with a
one piece amd pan to go in..
stay away from sherman...

the 2 piece now has some fugly lap weld down the middle
it would all depend on what you are building,
but a better looking finished product comes with the one piece pan.

Has anyone installed a one piece trunk pan in a 66-67 belvedere/satellite? Can I remove the tail light panel to get it in there? Oh and AMD's trunk pan does have the edge for the rear crossmember.
