The headlights, parking lights work, as well as the turn signals (although they flash fast but still work front/rear.
My problem is the interior light doesn't work, nor does my dashboard lights..
I am assuming the fuse is blown, what's the likelyhood that every bulb in the interior is shot??:coffee:

Have you checked to see if power is getting to the interior bulb sockets with an OHM meter?

Next step check to see if power is getting to the fuses in the fuse box

Then the fun begins - trying to find which wire is pinched/broken. Sometimes buying a new harness may be your best bet. Not cheap, but will insure you do not have an electrical fire in the future because of old insulation

The interior lighting is all wired to one harness, so that is the 1st place to start

The instrument wiring is another harness

The speed of your turn signal can be changed by changing the wattage of the bulbs

i don't see any under dash lighting...only the dome light

Hey, I would like to get in on this.
I have a similar issue, when i bought the car all lights and electrical worked except the dome light and the instrumental panel lights. The wiring harness was all hacked up so i left in alone.
After restoring my dash, instruments, new light switch and wiring harness i still have the same problem.
It has a 5 amp fuse that blows out everytime I turn the key on ???

Any help would be appreciated

Not sure if this will help either of you, but it sounds pretty damn close to a problem I had with mine. Check out the link regarding running lights in my signature. There was A LOT of good info in there.

where should the under dash light be located?

There is no under dash lights on these cars. I would start by replacing every fuse in the fuse box, who knows how old they are. And then you will know all fuses are good. I think the dash lights are on a seperate fuse from the headlights and parking/turn signal lights. Most of the fuses in the panel will be marked underneath the fuse for its main purpose and amp size if I remember correctly. If your turn signal is flashing fast on one side only that is a sign you have a burned out bulb. If it flashes fast on both sides I would check all the bulbs first, if they are all burning as they should replace the flasher and that should take care of it.

Hey Mods, where did my other posts on this thread go. Did I break a rule?
