I have superformance water pump housing gasket and timing chain cover gaskets, to make sure they didnt leak i put permatex aviator form a gasket on both sides of each gasket. I need to take them off to put the gasket piece between the timing cover and oil pan. My question is, can I reuse the superformance gaskets even so I have the sealer on them or would it be best to get new gaskets?

If it were me I'd use new gaskets
not worth the $$ saved, to not do it right, & have no leaks
especially oil pan & timing cover

If it was me, I would use the 20th century gasket: silicon & nothing else. That is what I use & I do not get leaks....

i would not advise this way , with some kind of gasket material in there with the silicone its alot easier to separate them when necessary , unlike straight silicone u will have to chisel the parts to separate them if u even can...i have a tunnel ram here (Wiend) that someone siliconed the top and bottom together at 1 time No gasket and they will Not separate short of putting the thing in a Press......
