I have a locally available GV..wrong adapter...GV wants my first born and left nut for one.

I found a few, of different lengths. There is a 13.5" that looks right....input?

Thanks.

Too short. Probably a truck model. It may be possible to fab a spool that would extend that short unit to the correct length.
Are you handy at that?

Before pulling the trigger on that 13.5" adapter, double-check your transmission's tailhousing length and spline count. GV makes different adapters for 'short' and 'long' versions of the same transmission.

I run that shorty setup in my car.
I keep twisting those output shafts in half and they’re getting tough to find.

Well crap...so much for cheap-n-easy! Thanks yall.
What, you didn't like my answer? I think it would work fine. Just cut a couple identical flanges and use a piece of sch 40 2 1/2"-3" pipe. If any warp occurs during welding, take it to a machine shop for milling or surface grinding. You might just plan for that and have it corrected to your desired length. Better than losing a nut!
