I've had two so far, not that bigga deal when you think of colon cancer plus insurance pays well on this.

Another test every man should get at the age of 50 is the Digital Rectal Exam and PSA blood test for Prostate Cancer. Also to know it is not always your PSA score vs your age, but how fast the rise is between tests. Any rise in PSA score of more than .75 of a point in a years time is not good and should be checked out.
I know from experience because it was missed by two of my doctors over a 3 year period. I was lucky, I questioned my PSA numbers when I noticed it had risen 1.5 points in 2 years but my PSA count was still in the normal range for my age. I had no symptoms and my doctors did not catch the rise because they never reviewed my past PSA results. I went in for a biopsy and it was Cancer. A very fast growing one at that. I had surgery to remove my Prostate. Luckily the cancer did not escape my Prostate. I have been cancer free for a year.

Are you sure it's not Obama's, he likes sticking his finger where the Sun don't shine! :D

Prostrate exam in the near future according to my doctor. I keep getting bladder infections and have for years. Doctor keeps telling me it not normal. If I want peace in the house it will happen. The wife has already told me I am going. Blood test have always come back normal and the doctor has been watching it close for years. After spending the last two days in bed there is no fight left here.

Time for the speedometer cable up the dingdong. Good luck.

In the last 15 years, I've had about 10 butt-scopes, and about 20 upper scopes. I have barrett's esophagus, and it requires constant check-ups/scopes. I have to schedule a follow-up upper-scope on Monday. All the pain-killers and antibiotics tore me up after my back surgery/infection, this past summer. I'm probably due for a butt-scope, also.

I had the camera up the dick to my bladder, about 10 years ago. That was uncomfortable and humiliating. I had to lay there with a white paper-tablecloth with a hole for your dick, while a room full of women [DR included] came and went and made small-talk. The DR took one of those wooden q-tips with some numbing-agent...and told me this won't hurt. WRONG!! She shoved that ****** up my dick, and said it was to make the procedure easier to start. Then she shoved a camera that had a water-hose on it, gradually up to my bladder. Take the worst you've ever had to piss, and multiply it by 10-20X. The water expands and lubricates....but can't escape past the camera. Meanwhile.......my schlong is is standing up from the tablecloth with a garden-hose in it, and the women are chit-chatting. UGH!

I'M about due for a upper and lower again, both front and back. My esophagus is damn near destroyed form analgesic over use most all of my adult years and Budweiser. Plus I have to get scoped down my wind pipe as they are looking for something. Shurely it ain't asbestos, welding and paint as well as regular cigarette smoking by coworkers.

I quit smoking 20 years ago, and drinking about 5 years ago. It's definitely helped with the Barrett's symtoms.

The worst upper scope I had, was when my regular gastro DR thought he saw some displasia in scope results....so he sent me to U of M. They had sedation and anesthesia processes. I don't sedate easily [70's-80's antics], but they decided to do it anyways. I woke-up about 5-10 minutes into the process. The nurse kept hitting me with more drugs, till she had to quit. They took over 30 biopsy samples [in and out], with me wide awake...having a monitor in front me. It looked like the "Alien" mouth, grabbing pieces of my upper- GI system to my stomach. I was basicly wide-awake, gagging, and very pissed-off.

Pissing blood hurts like hell also. When the pain is bad enough modesty isn't even an after thought. But no I am not looking forward to this but if it must be done it will happen.
