Hi guys trying to get my body work done which paint is better they are almost equal in cost which is the better paint and ease of use thanks

hi I use Du Pont chromalux paint. it has a better color match. and goes on well.

Never really had any issues with any paint system I used to spray. I liked PPG, personally.

My friend owns a bodyshop at which I'm restoring my "X". He used to use Glasurit on everything untill the insurance companies started to say Hell No to
the costs. He changed his whole system to Sherwin Williams because of cost. He recomended that I use the Glasurit on my car because it is the best product.
By the way, Glasurit was owned by DuPont, and now DuPont is out of the paint buisness.

I've had a matrix paint system used on my charger it turned out nice the colors were nice and bright /crisp .
I am going ppg on this car as I was told it's great
DuPont is a tride and true paint system though been around forever
Good luck .
By the way are you painting it a reg gloss or a metallic, pearl ?

I will be painting it the original color pp1 bright red with the black vinyl top

I can imagine it...Guys in business suits and sunglasses with spray guns.

Used both Dupont & PPG through the years, both good.
