Yes they are retiring, just talked to them. My radiator is being built though should be done in a week. They are not taking any more orders. He said he will be on here to address the issue.
I know that he had repop Chrysler tank tops. It would be great if we knew who made them.

While I am going to retire, all orders in now and restorations here WILL get finished. I am in talks with 3 different places about buying out the reproduction radiator business. Along with that, the restoration part. I will train the new ownwer on how to restore one correctly as I see it, so there will be some down time, the buisness will live on. As soon as something is concrete, I will post an update onb time table and owners. THANKS for all the kind words!! I have loved doing this for the past 35 years.

I had a few radiators done by you over the years.
I remember on my last one, you just sent it out when you finished it. (70 Swinger 340)
Then you called me to let me know it was coming prior to payment.

I heard this on FBBO yesterday.
This business of not being able to get parts professionally repaired or replaced is only going to increase as all the old-school guys start falling off their perch.....the younger generation are not interested in taking on that sort of work.
I was lucky to find a few great guys here - stainless fabricator & welder, aluminum tank manufacturer....gear cutters etc..... there are still a few talented people around.
My advice is if you need parts restoring that you need to farm out - get it done sooner rather than waiting.....there will come a day when nobody can help you.

Thanks Bob for all that you do. I know everyone here appreciates you and your work. You’ve done 2 radiators (and a couple heater cores) for me over the years (most recently 1 for my Duster) and they were absolutely works of art. I hope you enjoy your retirement. Thanks again!
