glue carpet ??

installing new carpet in my 1974 dodge charger !! I painted the floor 2 wet coats single stage paint , then 2 coats of ceramic coating , then dynamatt . carpet is installed and all trimmed . I have to go to work , that means traveling for a couple days to let it flatten out . its ben out of box for months , so its not bad at all . i was going to use 3 m spray adhesive ?? what do you think ?? thanks

I would not glue it. There's plenty holding it down and you may want to remove it someday.

I did just about a similar method, with paint and then dynamat, but didn't glue the carpet, as stated, there is plenty to hold it in place, and once it sits outside on a hot day, it will relax into place and you should be good to go!
