Yesterday was nice and sunny with the high in the high 60's....here's the 10 forecast starting today.....next Monday is pretty much the same.

We had temps in the upper 50s yesterday along with downpours with 60 mph winds. The temp dipped to the upper 20s last night. My street lost power at 11:00 am on Friday and just came on at 9:00 this morning. The power outage didn't bother me at all though.

How quiet is that thing?? I know the portable Generacs are noisy no matter how big they are. Well, at least the older ones were.

79 today at my place.....local news says 81 which is probably at Hobby Airport. Not all that far from me. If they could take a reading from Ellington field, that's even closer.

Have always used portables.....around here the power goes down but doesn't stay down for very long. Very seldom does it stay down for more than a few minutes. Rare occasion does it stay off for more than an hour due to some moron making a mistake. Once about a year ago it stayed off for 24 hours because of tree trimmers. I gave the company hell for that one and I'm sure other neighbors did too since it affected the whole neighborhood. Even during hurricanes it's usually back up once the storm has passed. It was back up after Ike within 16 hours and it never went down during Harvey. Just doesn't make money since to me to have a 'standby gen' when conditions don't warrant it...
