I just bought a 2nd 69 X haven’t got it home yet. It’s ruff how bad I don’t know. I will see tomorrow. Hopefully he can find the fender tag. car comes complete except hood but has extra (4)fenders (2)trunk lids (1) 8 3/4 (1) Dana for$1000 My question is did all 4 speed GTX come with Dana rear? It has a 8 3/4 in it now hopefully he has the fender tag. Since this car will need so much work we are thinking of turning it into a Autocross car for fun. Will post some pictures tomorrow. Yup. All 4-speed GTX’s came with the Dana.

Base engine in a GTX was a 440 and if a 4-speed, it would have been equipped with a Dana.

Me personally I would not auto cross a GTX .. a slant six dart even makes me cringe a Dakota , not so bad.. it’s a 50 plus year old car they don’t build them anymore! Enjoy it for what it is or was. IMO

It’s Home at least it’s not going to a crusher I know anything can be fixed but it’s ruff and all frame rails would need replaced.

Anything can be saved. No rush to decide, pour over it and figure out what you want to do.

No tree just weeds. Someone has put new quarter panels on it at one time don’t make since to me the way the frame rails look. They Said the motor and transmission & fender tag was stolen after the owner passed away. car was from Ohio. don’t know if that’s true or not maybe someone in the family just sold them who knows.
