All I can say is you are doing the right thing by asking around, but we all know you're no fool! Off the cuff I'd say hovering around the $1K mark is about right but if it has really good tone (due to the wood aging, etc..), good hardware and overall in great shape it might be worth more to the right guy. Plug it into a good quality amp and let a very experienced musician play it. These things can be like our cars that hit the mark with color and options combos.
