Gun Market Getting Crazy!

Sadly my gun rack is just about full. I have space for two more handguns, a S&W Model 19 with 2.5" barrel and a Walther PPK/S. I just helped my son get a Gen 3 Glock 22, so someone in my family has finally lowered themselves to Glock level. :) Now if I can find a good deal on a Model 19, but $800 seems to be the norm these days.
That's a great dilemma to have:)

Had the Canadian border patrol ask me to list my guns last weekend..... I looked at him and said "seriously"? He then just said "just the handguns" and sent me on my way.

Oh yeah and that hammer less revolver is a sweet little gun . I carry a 38 snub nose (the old 60's 5 shooter) I like it it's a great carry but any distance over 5-6 yards it becomes screwy not sure if it was my ammo or what but that gun sucked passed 5 yards . My ruger p90 45 (aka the tank or Lucifer or robo cop) that is a sweet shooting gun very accurate and reliable ,but huge and hard to carry. I'm going out with my wife's kel tec pf9 and my father's new s.w. 9mm (father's Day present) and brake those two in .

The snubby is made for up close and personal. At 7 yards, I can barely get 6" groups and double taps on the paper is nearly impossible.

Yeah figured that out I tried to keep it atleast in the kill zone. 3 in the kill zone isn't bad I guess two just out of it

Laser comments not withstanding, Crimson Laser-Trace.

I think we should all be concerned, stay tuned up and be ready to protect ourselves crime stats are going through the roof with law enforcement getting Monday morning quarterbacked every time they defend themselves or take any proactive action...soon we may see them just responding to after the fact calls. I retired after 16 years as a police officer / detective and wouldn't take that job now for any amount of money.....

Very raw footage - caution ....
Police Video everyone should see. Narrated by Al Pacino.

If you don't at least buy protection for the home - to protect yourself and those you love - before election day, you are making a mistake. Things and laws could change. Anything is possible.
I want to thank the retarded big-eared moron occupying the Whitehouse for the nudge to be prepared.

No panic or shortage of anything around here. My closest friend has had a big indoor-range/store for over 25 years, and it's never been slower. He's actually worried about it. I believe, after several days, they can't delay your purchase any further.[nics check?]

Maybe everyone already has enough weapons in your area?

My list of needed guns is now down to one. :) I just bought a Model 19 with a 2.5" barrel off gunbroker and it should be here this week. :)

On the downside, I'm thinking I'm gonna have to get rid of my Uberti Cattleman SAA. What a POS! After two or three rounds, the cylinder locks up. Apparently it's a known design flaw. It looks beautiful, but shoots like crap, so I guess I'll be trading it at the next gun show I go too.

By the way...I'm not a fan of Glocks, but there is a flood of police trade in Gen III Glock 22s on the market right now. I guess since the FBI is going back to 9MM, all the police forces are dumping their .40 S&W pistols and following suit. I just helped my son's fiancee get my son a Glock 22 in great shape, with night sites and two mags, for $315.

I just sold a 30 year-old, model-66/2 1/2", NIB.

Jerry Brown signs in more bs gun restrictions...then immediately splits on a 4 week, no doubt tax funded vacation.

My 2.5" Model 19 will be a concealed carry firearm, and will be carried on my left (weak) side, so if I can hit center mass at 25 feet with my left hand I'll be happy. :)

Not that anyone needs another hobby, I highly recommend IPSC ( International Practical Shooters Confederation). Up until a few years ago we were members & shot competition matches.
The premise is exactly as the organization states ,practical shooting.
Courses were designed to simulate real world scenarios. We had couches, cars, sometimes there would be a bed & nightstand, weak hand ect. We would even have rifle and shot gun matches.
They have different classes, tatical, open and revolver & each is graded D - Master shooters.
It was really a lot of fun, tought gun safety, familiarity, increased speed and accuracy...Here is a pov video from one of the club shooters...
This was what the call a "Virginia count" match, you are required to put x (2 in this case) rounds on the paper, mandatory reloads.White targets are "no shoots", black are " hard cover"...
There are chapters all over the world, pretty good stuff..
