this is my cousins '69 Coronet 440, that will be featured in a TV series titled: "Gypsy Hunter" on True TV, it's a pretty corny show (what reality shows aren't), basically they hunt fugitive gypsy's, and my cousin plays one of the bounty hunter's, and this is gonna be the car he chases them down in (he's actually involved in the music/editing, and they suggested using his car and him)
he also owns a '68 Coronet 500 station wagon, 318/three on the tree manual, 1 of 80 made, they're thinking of using that on the show as well to transport the criminals, but thats still up in the air.
as for the '69, he bought it, in1997 for $600.00 w/a running 318 w/a rod knock, it's an original California car, and the body is soo straight and rust free, the photos don't do it justice, don't let the looks fool you, it's running a fresh 440, (out of a '70's Jensen interceptor) it's also running ported 915 heads, performer rpm, 750 double pumper, headers/3" exhaust, & 3.91's in the rear, (it runs easy 12's ) , I did a disc brake swap on it years ago, and we're gonna Install some Hotchkis sway bars on it soon, that will be filmed for the show,
the car will also be shot in satin black for the show, and it'll get some fresh dogdish caps, and yes that is a bulge hood too, he got that for $50.00 from a friend.
the show should be out after the first of the year, look for it on "True TV".
