H pipe or x pipe

This is me talking.."The new headers are longer than the old ones and so I have modify the exaust......soooo (now picture my wife nodding her head as her b.s. detector is ringing wildly) I'm going to make a few changes. Will it be loud? she asks. Yes I say, the sound will most likely break windows three blocks away. Great! I'll start looking for a new place for you to live wise@ss, was her reply.
So with that benediction in mind, I figure that either an H or X pipe should quiet the car down enough to keep me under the same roof as I currently live. But looking underneath the car, I don't see a clear cut place to put it. Can you guys/gals post up some pictures of where you put them? Thanks in advance!

X is more efficient. My exhaust guy can make anything fit, anywhere.

Although a crossover pipe is more efficient and quieter, I like the individual left - right pulses at the tailpipes when idling from non-crossed dual exhaust.

X or H pipe is not going to quiet the exhaust..it just balances pressure...X is the better of the two for balance

H pipes were originally factory installed to quiet the exhaust, usually at least 2 dB reduction was noted. The gain in power was a bonus. Magnaflow talks about noise reduction with their x pipes. X is definitely better at higher rpms for efficiency.

Thanks, the picture was what I was looking for! I am looking to see how either option is fitted to the car, I wasn't really looking to restart the debate on which is more effective. Lol! I do appreciate everyone's input though.
