Was that for the Federal ID ?, state issued on a driver's license ?....concealed carry license??? It sorta makes sense for this state lol
State licenses.....last time on a commercial flying bus was 76 and don't plan on getting on another. Got my CCL 20 years ago. Haven't got my driver's license yet as I had to get an out of state certified BC and haven't made a new appointment to finish things up. My old CCL looks just like my old driver's license. The new one has the same pic but has a different design to it. Hard to see it unless in good lighting. Would imagine the new DL will have a new pic taken. Was that for the Federal ID ?, state issued on a driver's license ?
that has the lil' hologram seal on the top of them
you need, to board a plane now or to get past the TSA lines too
better than here
you can't hardly get a Conceal Carry here, 'now' jump thru hoops & barrels
I never have let mine expire, had it since 1984,
used to carry a lot of cash & contracts
even when I lived in Alaska, Anchorage & Palmer for a few years, had residency in Ca.
& while in southern Mo. doing track/resto & mngmt, later 80's Springfield/Smokey Mt.
kept my house/s in Calif.
....and yet Baggage Handlers don't seem to have criminal backgrounds checks before employment.you need, to board a plane now or to get past the TSA lines too

Being that I'm creeping up on 75....I probably won't need to renew again lolTexas doesn’t issue dl’s to illegals, hence why you needed your birth certificate to prove you’re a US citizen. Now that you’ve done that, you won’t need to that again.
With the license I have, I can do either. Without the license, you can't conceal carry from what I read.....Since we have open carry here in NV, I have not gotten a CCW, as I very rarely do carry when out running errands. When I moved here and switched my DL from CA to NV, I first presented my Military Retired ID for proof, and the DMV said nope...Passport or BC only. I asked why, and got no answer until I checked why it is accepted in so many other places yet not there. It turned out that at the time, the SECDEF had decided that it wasn't a viable form of ID other than to get on bases and for health care. Seeing as how it is a Gov't issued ID along with a passport, both state on them, Property of the US Government, it made no sense. I had to get a new passport because I could not find my BC, so it took some time. Back then, it was a State Issued ID with the symbol in the top right corner, so I am good to go. Last year, I had to renew my DL, and the only ID I needed was my old DL, Doc's form signed, and a vision certification, which I got from him also, as my left eye has a cataract, and I would not have passed the DMV eye test, so I was good to go there. Only need one eye to legally drive a vehicle per law here. I could get a CDL to help with any future firearms purchases, but I have no plans to do so, even though it would save me some $$ on the transfer and Background check...I have more than enough if need be...cr8crshr/Bill![]()

Wow!My wife just had to show her ID to visit her Father in the HOSPITAL!!!
Texas became easier over the years....once the vehicle turned 25, no more emissions checks and now, no more safety inspections either. After getting the 22 Colorado emissions checked, I didn't see them checking anything else so looks like the safety inspections are totally gone. Yay!Oddly, despite it saying so on my notice, I did not have to produce any form of ID other than my current DL.
Also, just as my Dakota turns 26, and should qualify for discounted "antique" plates.....
...they changed that requirement to 30.
I swear if the change it to 35 in 5 years.....
My Dakota turned 25 this year so I was planning to do the same. Looks like I'll have to wait 5 more years.Oddly, despite it saying so on my notice, I did not have to produce any form of ID other than my current DL.

Here in GA if you have a license that has the Real-ID star on it you don't need anything to renew your DL. You can do it online if you want. If you’re over 64 you need a vision exam and they have a form you can have your eye doctor fill out to show you can see. Pretty easy now.
Same here, visited a friend in Orlando hospital first my bag of magazines went through the belt scanner then I went through the metal detector. Then I got the wand.My wife just had to show her ID to visit her Father in the HOSPITAL!!!
Was able to renew my DL on line last time so that's why I need to do it in person this time but was able to renew my carry license on line this time. Here in GA if you have a license that has the Real-ID star on it you don't need anything to renew your DL. There's a couple of hospitals here that are getting more strict but it's mostly with gun carrying. One nearby hospital has the walk through scanner and had to leave your ID/DL at the window when going to the ER....another hospital had zero scan and no signage against gun carry but did have signage against open carry....which I never do anyways.Same here, visited a friend in Orlando hospital first my bag of magazines went through the belt scanner then I went through the metal detector. Proceeded to ask his room number but needed to sign with my drivers license.
