Well tomorrow, Feb. 2nd. at 0730 hours we will find out if we have a longer winter, 6 more weeks or an early spring. Let's hope for a cloudy morning.

Crappy Groundhog Day! Please no shadow, please please please please. :praying:. Unfortunately though I gotta feelin' he will see his shadow and it will remain winter, supposed to be sunny tomorrow. Never know though. I however hear on the news they might be testing a robot groundhog now.

First sunny day in 9 days and wouldn't you know it's gonna be on Feb.2nd. "Woodstock Willie" is gonna see his shadow.

Good luck....from Punxsutawney Phil.

So Spring comes early and no more 6 weeks of winter?
Yes, that’s what the folk lure says. I took my convertible out today with the top down to celebrate. It was cold and drizzling slightly, but it was well worth the small celebration!

I used to think that this was a cute little "Holiday".
Then it occurred to me that February 2nd is right in the middle between December 21st (First day of Winter) and March 21st. (First day of Spring)
Whether the underground rodent sees his shadow or not, Winter is not over for 6 more weeks.
