Has anyone bought and/or used one of these to inspect the inside of engine cylinder heads to look for carbon buildup? Can you really "tell" anything? I would like to avoid removing the heads of a 383 if possible. The engine sometimes "diesels" for a few seconds when shut off.

I have one, bought it to look behind walls originally and used it for behind the dash on the car, never used for engine but it has a decent picture and adjustable light levels, you can also flip the image or mirror image.

i bought their Borescope...
Is that what you mean?
I love it.
I also have a Milwaukee one too.

Yeah. I'm thinking of a "borescope". Want something cheap, but also want it to work. :glasses10: I would only use it a few times and even thought of "renting" one, but, usually, one or two days rent will pay for an inexpensive tool.
