my other recreational rig, gone now
out in the real west
Yosemite, has to be on the list of out west
if you haven't been there already
make reservations now, it's always full it seems
you can always do a day trip thru it too
Yellowstone, has to be seen
&/or Glacier Park are both great too
lots of great places in Oregon, Bend, Grater Lake,
Branden Dunes (rent some offroad stuff)
Washington, Olympic Park, get into your inner Hippie/Tree hugging
Sasquatch sittings
there's lots of open country,
beautiful scenery out west, if you want to stay away from the 'touristy crap'
& bigger cities/cesspools
Columbia River, do some Salmon Fishing
A bunch of touristy stuff up & down Calif Coast,
too much to mention all
SF, Alcatraz (by boat/ferry), Big Sur, Big Caves (name eludes me),
Seal Beach, Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, Carmel, Bodega Bay
there's a few Bigfoot museum deals, NorCal all over rural areas
some corny, some somewhat legit
Can go up in the Emerald Coast, Ukiah, Ureka,
cooler weather for sure in the Summer heat
Pacific (Coastal) Hwy 101 all kinds of places & lil' quaint towns, shops or cafe's
Pismo Beach, people watching & offroad stuff, dunes
Russian River/Guerneville etc. area has a lot of history
Fort Bragg up the coast (old fort oldest in Calif.)
San Diego Military Ship yard, Planes or Military adventures/sites
LongBeach Queen Mary
Rock Climbing, in a few places in the Sierras
John Muir trails, all over Ca., great hiking

also nearby Johnson Valley for 4wd stuff/desert style
Devil's Postpile park
Forest Hill, Auburn area Placer Co. down to the rivers
Lake Tahoe
Truckee
Donner Pass, historical Donner party stuff
lots of camping or hotels near the Lake Tahoe basin

North & South hwy 395, 101, I-5
lil' dive in East Bay Corcord to Danville area,
Mt. Diablo, not a big deal but calm & quaint
Danville used to be a nice quaint upper-class place, rest. & shops etc.
'The Motherlode' Gold Country all over Tuolumne Co.
Jamestown Trains & Gold sites,
hwy 49 or 108 or 120 areas
or Hangtown/Placerville up hwy 49 or down to Sacramento (Sutter's Fort),

or up 193 to Georgetown, past it to Lake Edison,
where the Jeppers Jamboree starts
not a huge national park, but nice secluded place
hwy 49 El Dorado Co. Sutter Mill 1849 gold discovery
Placer Co. also has some pretty cool stuff, not National Park size thou
some pretty cool river rafting on the North & South forks of the American river
or just camping, easy none guided or rugged class 4 guided rapids
several others spread all over
more camping type stuff, but easy traveling
if you stay at a motel or campgrounds
Redwoods Park out by the coast central coast
Not all National Parks stuff, just points of interest
not a big deal if you're from here, out of state people seem to like it
