'Fess up, have you been harboring thoughts of beating to death your brother in law today? Post up your stories gents and lady...

I done that years ago nobody hear but me and the wife, daughter and grandkids. Peaceful very peaceful

Severed ties years ago with siblings. Just me and the wife as well. Kids are at the other families this year. I was asleep however, sitting in the easy chair, when our huge great Pyrenees dog jumped up and started barking loud and deep right next to my ear. Scared the crap out of me. On the upside i'm empty now and can go eat more food.....lol.

I don't have a brother in law, but thanks for asking.

I'm done!

Having a great day, all the liberal brother in laws are up from Philly.
They keep trying to prompt me in discussion about my man Trump.
Wifes not talking to me either. Maybe Cuz the 4' X 8' TRUMP sign re-appeared in the yard overnight - amazing!!
No killing .....yet anyway.
Antifreeze laced yams are a slow painful death, if one would be so inclined.
Just sayin

Just me, the wife, and 4 fuzzy-kids. Just finished. Didn't eat much....as the 10a.m. White Castles are still talking to me. We quit doing the family stuff, several years ago. We get along better.

Well my Friend...I haven't ever harbored those kinds of thoughts at all. I am of the opinion that at this time of year, it is far more civil to avoid any and all things controversial and upsetting by making sure that all glasses are full of spirits and plenty of food all the way around. Now what could drive someone to want to throttle their relatives over that kind of gathering? I get where you are going with this as a "tongue and cheek" question, but it really is an odd question to say the least...Happy Birkey Turd"...cr8crshr/Tuck :usflag::usflag::usflag:

As it turned out it was just me, the wife and our son and daughter. My niece had adenoids and tonsils removed a 2 weeks ago, so my brother and sister-in-law did an early thanksgiving dinner about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Father-in-law and step-mom usually go to Chicago to see his sister. That's more important this year because she has stopped taking medicine and has congestive heart issues. Step-father-in-law fell a week ago and fractured a hip, he's 92. We were supposed to go to Crack Barrel or ? with him and my wife's mother but he's in rehab right now. Use to go every couple years to my Aunt's for Thanksgiving but since she passed away the rest of the family doesn't get together nearly as much.
My mom was with her long time boyfriend and his family. It was actually nice to not have to run between a couple different families for a change.

Of course it's all kidding, everyone was civil.
We all did get a laugh tho about the sign. There's nothing a few bottles of Wine and spirits can't overcome. Actually had a good time.

Just got home, We had 36 total counting kids at my mother inlaws , large family on both sides and for some strange reason we all get along fine, 20 lb smoked ham and near the same size turkey plus all the fixins, few beers and pie. Had a great time.

Kids are all back East. Linda too. Most of the kids on the dole in some form. Disablity, intentional reduced hours, multiple bankruptcies.

If I could only document my pain here I would. Unfortunately it could be used as evidence in a court of law. I hope to be relieved next week some time.
