I'm the guy that is usually the LAST to try or to accept new technology. A.I. is one of those things.
I've heard of this site/program and decided to ask it a question. I've heard that you can load a picture and have it change the background or other things. This is probably just scratching the surface of what it can do.

I loaded my High School Senior portrait and asked it to age it by 40 years. I wonder how accurate the results will be. It isn't an immediate response though. I tried last night and after a half hour of waiting, I gave up.
Who else has done this?

There are young guys at my old job (retired now) using it to write computer programs to fill ou hazardous waste manifests by importing data from spread sheets.

Last night, I put this picture in....

I just saw that the picture came through. AI has a LONG way to go.

Maybe ....

That looks like a rendering of Mark's car minus the whitewall tires.

I use it frequently at work (I’m an IT guy). It is pretty good at helping me interpret error messages and log files. I have caught it a few times giving incorrect information. It’s far from perfect, but it is helpful.

This site has a LOT of room for improvement. I tried again...

ChatGPT adds 40 years attempt #1

Attempt #2 :

Am I really supposed to look this old?
I asked the site to take this picture....

....and make it look like a NASCAR car with the number 5 on it. THIS is what it came back as...

A friggin Camaro ??

Attempt 2 after I clearly stated 1970 NASCAR Dodge Charger.

I haven't used it, but I've seen some videos of people using it to virtually stage home interiors for real estate as well as create outdoor home design renderings that looked pretty awesome. The examples I saw showed a step by step process where they rendered 10 consecutive modified revisions based on the 1st iteration from Chat GPT. For example, for Greg's Nascar Charger above, he could keep that 2nd attempt and then tell ChatGPT, update the look to change the color to Petty Blue, then next revision tell it to update the background to have the car on a banked turn at Taladega, then next one, now update that one to have the driver holding a checkered flag out the window as he rounds the turn. You get the idea. So you don't have to do a brand new rendering each time, but instead you can update as you go and add or subtract things. I believe that version costs a monthly fee though...

The look of the NASCAR version is so cool. I'm tempted to recreate that look for the Spring Fling trip next year. I could find some stick on vinyl letters and door numbers and maybe those windshield and backlight holddown brackets to stick on.

Or, you could just find a picture of a 69 NASCAR Charger and look at that.

If I wanted to look at a 69 Charger, I'd do just that. I wanted to see one that looked like a 1970 model, you know.....like the car that I have.
Here is a NON AI shot I like....

I have a 4-plex listed for sale right now. One of the units was empty when pics were taken and here's what they did with them. The small red banner in the upper right corner says virtually staged.

Being an old fart myself, and having a pretty broad understanding of the tech area as I got involved with it back in the early 80s, this newer stuff does have its merits to it. However, I have zero interest in AI at this point in time as it #1 frightens the hell out of me, and #2, so many now are reliant upon it and cannot even use their brain anymore, and want nothing but crutches to get through their daily lives. Curiosity is a great trait to have, but as the old saying goes, it killed the Cat!!! So, no thanks, and y'all can go ahead as you see fit to do so...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
