Having problem get host error 520

I've been seeing this error on FCBO since yesterday evening. This is what I'm currently seeing:

I'm not a computer geek, or knows what's going on in the internet world scheme of things, but what does one hafta do by the meaning "working on it" to bring things back to the way that it was?

That I don't know for sure. The tech's are probably trying different combinations of things to see what works. My daughter tried to explain it to me, basically the issue isn't on our end and not on Joey's end either. (not an issue with his software) It was explained as a communication error between the servers. That is a guess on her part because she obviously isn't working on a fix.

It could be a number of things from ranging from the physical connection to a software, configuration or a data storage issue. In plain English this would be a failed cable, port, card, etc. for physical connection issues. On the logical end of things this could mean a hard drive died and the database must be restored or even something as trivial as a new software version having issues..

The 3rd category is malicious intent i.e. a denial or service attack or some other nefarious activity.

It's interesting that the chain of servers I go through to get to FABO doesn't work for me but the members out east are still commenting and posting. I am straight west of Joey in Chicago.

That is interesting I'd be curious to know the topology of the network. That said I hope they don't share that type of information with people LOL. For reference I have been working as a telecommunication engineer in the field repairing and maintaining cellular telephone and data networks for 25 years. I've been in this business long enough to know that 50% of the time to fix is to turn it off and turn it back on again

I'm in Arizona and can't connect to A or C.

For what it's worth,

forcbodiesonly.com = 15.157.177.89 (ec2-15-157-177-89.ca-central-1.compute.amazonaws.com). FABO, FBBO, FCBO all have same IP.

traceroute *to all 3* of them are identical:

I can get to 52.94.81.14 (the 17'th hop) but nothing after that. The 9'th to the 17'th hops are all within amazon's network. The 14'th to the 17'th hops are all 52.94.8x.x IP's.

I can't ping any of them.

Normally I would say that if I can't ping or traceroute to a server, then I shouldn't be able to reach it via http or https.

But for some reason I can reach FBBO by browser.

I just tried to reach FCBO and FABO using a different (rarely used) browser, and still get Origin Unreachable.

I wonder if some people that can reach FCBO or FABO are using IPv6 ?

Perhaps the server doesn't know that it is "authoritative" or supposed to handle requests for FABO and FCBO (but only FBBO) ?

A seems to be back to normal.

FABO here in California, just got back online.
Somebody, was successful.
I was just able to log on, read a post but when I tried to answer, it locked up and I got an error message. Not fixed yet.
