Just a heads up. I bought a set of Doug's D-452 coated headers for my 63 Polara. It has a 440 with Stealth heads, power steering and a 727. Only thing we did was to put on a Powermaster Mini starter. Fitment was perfect. It needed no dents or scratched up finish to go in. Had the heads off and drivers side mount loose. I'm really happy with them.

I bought the black painted D452s for my 440 in my '62. Fit like a glove! Black paint is still holding up. I did have to taper the flange at the top to clearance the ridge on the 452 heads that I'm using.

Ahhh I have stealths. Don’t know if those are there. I’ll look when I pick it up tomorrow. Oh man your car is so sweet. And the quads look cool.

452's are notorious for having that ledge. I usually mock up headers while the engine is on the stand and discovered that a few years ago.

Hedman 78030's fit really well too. I sandblast and BBQ black paint mine and they've been on since 2015.

They said they fit the Stealths without any work.
