I cant seem to find a set of headers for my 1964 Plymouth Fury. I have the original 383 H.P engine. All the headers I find says for round ports, mine are rectangular.I'm new to the Mopar scene,so I need help, thanks, Ray

I don't know where you are checkng but you have a lot of companies that make correct headers for mopars.Headman, TTI, Hooker, Doug's are just a few companies.

headers for a 64 are different but if you set the motor back 2 inches.any B body header from 66 up will fit.......if you keep it in the original location hooker and headman had them BUT not cheap.......Artie

You would need to change to a later 66-70 b body k-member

See, I asked a "Mopar guy" just tonight if I could do that with my 63 Plymouth and he said the firewall would interfere. I am assuming engine/bellhousing? Any one else done this? Can I still use my push button tranny?

I use 1-3/4 Hedman Elite headers with the 440 in my 63. They fit perfect and cost about $399. I believe. Ron

Using a later ('66-'72) K-frame in an early B body is more trouble than it's worth. Unless you have a specific reason to set the engine back (such as weight transfer for racing) I would try to avoid going that route. I did it once by accident (just didn't know any better) and boy did I have to jump through hoops to make thinks fit and it was never really 'right'. Once I put the correct K in everything just fell into place.

383man is right. Those headers work even though they aren't listed for those specific vehicles. I have the cheapie BlackJack version of those same headers and they go right in. They don't even trap my mini starter.

I have the stock K-frame in my 63 and these Hedman headers fit great. I see no reason for me to use a newer K-frame and move the eng back. My car hooks good with the eng in the stock location and as I said the headers fit great. Ron

'62 - '65 RB and B Headers

I'm using TTI's on my '62. They aren't cheap but they fit with no issues. They were the first set of headers I've installed in years that didn't need at least a little hammer work. I used 2" tube headers and the complete 3" exhaust system. Everything fit just like it's supposed to.

I bought the same set at 383man has but painted black for my 63. They fit fine. I think they were under $200.00 part number 73038

On my 63 Fury I had stock BB k frame 71 440motor.I spent the money and bought 2" Doug's headers 10yrs ago. They went without a problem, never leaked.Pricey but at that time Doug's was only place that said they go right in and I didn't want cut up my car.

headers for 63 plymouth savoy

I bought a 63 savoy from a guy and he has a set of HH-5 hedman headers 2inch to 3 collector that he thinks??? fit the car .I cant find that # at any hedman sites does any one know what they fit?? Or where to find that # he also installed a newer k out of a 67 satalite. Will that change where the engine set back ends up .I thought I would ask some people who may have been through this before I start seting things into place.I might use elephant ears for front mount Im not to concrned with noise going racing in this one anyone got any advice ? thanks Bill

My 63 plymouth has a 66 later K frame.
No problems, if your running a oe crossram you'll be 1/2" close to the firewall but not hit.
I got 2 sets of headers that would fit your car if interested. Hookers super comps.

I put a set of Headman elite headers on my 66 bevedere and they were the worst fitting header I have ever used. There is no way a oem starter is going to work so you have to buy a mini starter. I had to put a big dent in one of the tubes so it would clear the power steering box. One side hit the torsion bar had to ding it. If I have any more problems with these headers they are going into the garbage. At the same time I bought the headers for my mopar I bought a set for a 71 camaro. The headmans hit the frame on both sides. I bought a set of Patriot headers for the camaro and they fit perfit. I will never buy anything made by headman again. Hope you have better luck than I did.
