Installed the upgraded wiring incorporating the relays for the headlights. As far as I could tell I routed everything correctly and the headlights work great. I get parking/running lights when I pull the switch out, but when I pull all the way out for Headlights, the running markers turn off. Checked at the bulkhead and same result, so it's not the bulbs. Turn signals work normal.
To be honest, I'm not sure if they were working before the upgrade, did not do too much night driving,,,bad switch?

Up to 68 front parking lights got turned off as soon you turn on headlights. The lights swith got in fact a separated circuit for fronts and rears ( these were used also to sidemarkers when equippped ). Since 69 this was changed keeping fronts turned on just adding a jumper wire ( or linking the wiring ) on harness between rear and front circuits, while switch remain the same. Cheaper solution than make a new switch

Pre '68, probably the way it's supposed to be !

Thank you! I never paid much attention to it, until I did this little upgrade to the headlights. Interesting.
