I am getting ready to install the headliner in my 67 2 hardtop Satellite. So long story short I'm not sure if I have the correct bows for my car, I can only make out 2 colors on the 4 bows one is red (the longest and most curved) the other is blue the second longest. Also are the bows supposed the rub tight against the roof sheetmetal? I did not take this car apart so I have no clue....... NEED HELP!

Watching. Have to do the same on my coronet soon and like you I did not disassemble my car.

Today is your lucky day. I'm actually putting the headliner back in my R/T. Here's some pictures. Bows should be tight on jute padding. You also need the two little spacer rods that clip on the 4th bow and snap into the rear sheetmetal above the rear window. I have it hung but ran out of time to stretch it tonight, tomorrow's project.

Sorry for the slow reply just got back from vacation. That is great information thanks! My car did not have sail panels was that something that varied from factory to factory or did they all have them?

This is a Dodge, not sure if Plymouth is different. I would assume the roof is the same. Sail panels are backers, they are behind the headliner. Just keeps the material flat.

After a long day of fun with the headliner I FINALLY got it to look pretty good, you have to pack your patience when you tackle this.
