Anyone else seen this? I think it would be the perfect price point and it definitely would rule out "Limited production".

I just can't see it. I would love it...but I just can't see how. Even going with their "core" concept that car would still be more expensive than that. And they are not releasing a "core" version in 2015. I still believe that car will come in around $75k when the pricing is finally official. The main reasons being a complete interior refresh and they are going to have to charge up front for the warranty issues with putting that much motor in the hands of the general public.

I don't disagree, but who even thought that they would build it in the first place?

The rules have changed ...

Perhaps, but the rules of economics haven't changed. I just can't see it. I hope I am wrong and it comes in under $60k. Because if it does I will be putting in my order for a sublime one as soon as the order banks are opened.

Don't forget the Stealer premium. ;)

it has to be priced comparable to the gt 500 and the cumaro other wise sales will not do anything !:icon_thumleft:

$75k is comparable to the GT500 which is technically its only real competition in my book. The ZL1 Camaro couldn't hold the Hellcat's jock. The Z28 is a track car and the SS competes with the 392.

1st I've seen it too...
hope to see them stick with it,
not price it so far over the top,
help get a bunch of these very cool cars on the road :headbang:

I'd been hearing about a $60k MSRP.

Agreed. It should be competitively priced, although I can see people paying $75k and up for it regardless.

For me it is not worth even the 60k bottom price. No vehicle is!!! I would rather be stuck in my 66 Ply Sat project that eats a hole in my wallet at times then have one of them. As the saying goes..."A Fool and Their Money Will Soon Be Parted". Who in the F**K in their right mind can afford a possible 600.00 to 800.00 car payment a month. Get real...cr8crshr/Tuck

There are a lot of people that can afford that and more.

Well its all relative to each person's situation. There is absolutely no difference between buying a Hellcat today and buying a 426 hemi car back in the day. The hemi option was almost as much as a car in some cases.

My sources say from $60 to $75K is the price point. I will go fully loaded as I did with my 08. I don't want to get in it one day and say, I wish I had gotten.... I've already set aside $50K and I'll trade my 08 SRT8.

The MSRP might be $60 to $75K but here in CA at least, the dealer pack will be $20 -$25K.

It's official. The MSRP is $59,995 plus the usual BS fees. I would expect the "dealer premium" fees to be about $25,000, which was what we found we could get away with on the 2005 Mustang back in 2004.

Also, keep an eye on eBay. When we had the Ford GT and 2005 Mustangs come out in 2004, a lot of dealerships were finding the best way to sell very-high demand cars like this was to list them on eBay, so I expect to see Dodge dealerships doing this as well.

Awesome! Dodge is rocking it for sure!

It was a lot more than that when I bought my '97 Viper, but it's still a gaff by our "favorite" uncle.

I'm not so much concerned w/ the tax as knowing that it didn't hit mpg requirements to not get them charged.

I seriously doubt that Herr Schitz. If one does have that kind of money then there are other more reliable ways to spend it and get a better return are their not?

Brian...Relative is the operative word in that regard. But their is a difference between then and now. And in the now or today, no vehicle as far as I am concerned is worth that kind of money. It's really needs and wants I guess. One may want it but do they really need it? For that amount I don't need it. Spend as you see fit but still it is way too over priced...IMHFO...cr8crshr/Tuck
