Yesterday was oil change time for my truck, so I hit my usual local oil change station, Valvoline, as it is now really hard for me to do it myself. While in the #1 stall, the #2 stall had a Challenger Hellcat having a rear-end differential flush...it was a brand new ride with temp plates, so why, I was thinking, but not my call...and as they finished up with him, he fored it up. DDDDAAAAAMMMMMNNNN!!!! The exhaust tone and rumble were something I have never heard in real time before!!! As he pulled out of the building to the outside, it sounded even better to these old ears!!! That Hell Cat engine is a force to be reckoned with, and if I were still working on MOPARS, I would want one either in the new body vehicles or for an engine swap in a beloved older MOPAR. Just Freakin" Awesome!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

100,000 Hellcats have been made over the last 10 years & you're just hearing your first now?

By chance, are you related to Auggie?

Awesome cars for sure. Some day I would eventually like to get a B5 blue H.C. non-wide body. I can't stand the 4x4 bushwacker fender flares. However, it seems that the majority of them are wide bodies.
I will more than likely just build a newer boosted drivetrain for my current 12 Challenger R/T for half the price once the current stock drivetrain gets worn out..

The powerplant is just bonkers. Who would have ever thought we'd have such a thing. I had a wide body hellcat charger and now a hellcat Durango. As insane as the burnouts for days was in the charger the hook and book of the awd is just killer.

I didn't like them either, till I realized the 6-cyl cars looked the same as the standard HC. I bought the most loaded 2023 unit, in the best colors I could find.

I have a 2023 300C, and am looking for a 2023 WB HC Charger. Has to be great color combo.

Nice.

I swapped a 6.4/NAG into my 70 `cuda. It's so much lighter than my Hellcat, I'd bet it would be a great drag race.

I've owned lots of very fast cars. My Hellcat showed me it deserved respect, the third or forth time out. Nothing like old NA cars. The inertia that these cars create is incredible.
That's why so many have gotten wrecked. Idiots with a down-payment, and no experience with a fast car.

I test drove a scat pack and was impressed with the power…when I test drove a hellcat the salesman asked me to please not ‘step on it in the turn’ as we exited the dealership. I guess a few people on previous test drives had given her the juice during the same turn and spun out into the intersection …

I know RC. Weird as it is, no, I haven't. At least when I have been out and about, I never paid much attention, really! No relation to Auggie either!!! Don't know if I could even handle that one if it were! Yesterday's encounter was less than 8 ft away from me in a building, so the volume was louder, and it just blew me away!!! Late encounter, but still an impressive-sounding machine!!! cr8crshr/Bill    :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

You don't have to give them any juice in a corner to loop one. Driving one would tell ya that. They'll change directions on a smooth, straight road...without judicious throttle control.
I was changing lanes on the interstate at 70, and I hit it. It moved almost 2 lanes. 2nd time out.

In 2016 we bought a new Jeep, my daughter was still in a carrier. I was carrying her out of the dealership to take our new Jeep home, as soon as I opened the door they fired up a Hellcat Challenger right infront of the doors, tailpies twords us, figured my daughter would be crying, I look down and she's smiling and giggling. I'll never forget it.

With 3 motors you'd think it could beat an old Dodge (170)
