Hello! I'm Cameron from NC and just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a die hard Mopar fan since I was young. My first car was a 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner that my dad and I restored and transplanted a built 440 in. My father, being an old hot rodder built the motor to what I believe now, he wished he had had at the age of 16. The car was brutally fast.. It's a wonder I am still alive! I sold that car about three years ago in order to go halfsies with him on a 1969 Dodge Charger that is a one owner car. The car is a completely perfect unmolested survivor with 42,000 original miles, original paint, interior, perfect chrome and even original vinyl top. It has been garage kept since new and never really seen rain. Needless to say it doesn't get much drive time.. We bought the car with full intentions of reselling it for a profit and came to the realization shortly after getting it that neither one of us could stand to see it go.
I recently got my hands on a 1962 Dodge Dart that is now a project underway which will become my daily driver. I personally think the '62 Dart is one of the best looking Mopars ever built (other than a 1970 Cuda). I have been doing a lot of research lately to only realize that there are fewer parts sources for this model than any other I have ever fooled with. As I make progress with this project I am sure I will need lots of info as well as any sources that anyone can spare.
I will post some pictures for all to see soon
