- taking my first steps to say HELLO! I've been lurking for a few months now, reading for information while shopping and collecting parts for my project. I wanted to say THANK YOU for all of the informational and entertaining threads that have greatly inspired me over the winter. I guess my next move should be to start my member project thread with photos...

Thanks again - and I look forward to making some new "virtual" friends.

I'll be out in the Duster or my Scamp this summer. I go to the Quacker steak and lube on Sunday evenings. Duster is a green 340 and the Scamp is red with a black vinyl top. See ya round!

Thanks! I haven't taken the time yet to start a project thread so I'll add some pics to this one if that's okay.

This is exactly how I found my 67. It was parked in this garage in the 80's, jacked up on blocks, dismantled and left as-is by a then young man starting on a journey with girlfriend->wife->kids... on and on. It saw sunlight for the first time in over 25 years when I pulled it out last fall. Does it qualify as a "barn find"? If not, maybe a "garage find"?

And just because it's one of my favorites, here is a photo of my kids and their friends I took a few months ago. My four are together on the right.
