Thanks so much Oliver for all the great pictures! Certainly a tedious process to repair all the rust issues but will be done correctly and will look great when finished. I commend you for all the effort!

It's time to wipe the dust on this topic
I unfortunately haven't been able to drive enough since I got my baby home
but here's a few random pics since her rebirth

I also had a few issues, like a broken bolt holding the alternator bracket, resulting in a breakdown, I was fortunately at a friend's house and we managed to but a bolt on the bracket just below the alternator and we jumped the battery and let the car charge a bit before going back home

The current issue is that a motor mount disintegrated itself, that should be fixed next week
Other than that, can't wait to drive it again, but the weather thoses days is tricky ...

Replace da mount & time for the "block to frame" chain!!! Old school, not usual for a 318 but you may NOT be use to AMERICAN TORQUE driving them Euro cars. You'll get there after a FEW sets of rear tyres & police tickets for doing burn-outs.

Well, I don't think it's a matter of torque, although it sure helped, but I think it's mostly due to age

Just a quick share after replacing the mount and resolving a few electrical issues on the engine harness connector on the firewall
I took my toy to a meet and she found an older cousin, not that often seen in here, a nice Cuda 340 4 speed
