My name is Josh. Just bought a running and driving 1974 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. I'm currently in school, finishing up my Diesel and Automotive technician degrees (done with automotive as of last Dec.) I also own a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 and a supercharged 2002 Pontiac Bonneville. Cars and trucks are my passion. As a matter of fact this is my second 70's Satellite. Looking forward to getting involved on this forum and hope I can help as much as I hope you guys and gals can help me.

Welcome from Minnesota Josh, look forward to pictures and updates.

This is what the car looks like as of now. It has a cammed 360 and a 3spd auto in it. Not sure if it's a 904 or 727. It does have a 8.75 rear end. The car was kinda thrown together (car was sitting gutted in the previous owner's uncle's pasture) so I'm chasing a bunch of loose ends so I can drive it home from school. As a whole the car has very little rust anywhere and is very straight. Just need to find the front and rear valances and some new hood springs and she'll be ready for paint and body.

Thanks, I'm looking but finding parts for this year is harder than it was for my 71..

welcome to FBBO

Welcome Josh, now I feel old, I remember seeing these when they were new.

nice ride! i know you said you were not sure if it was a 904 or a 727 it is easy to check look underneath on the passenger side if it is a 727 it will have a bit of a kick out at the pan near the front of the pan if not it is a 904 727's are longer as well. make sure it has some kind of kickdown linkage or that tranny won't last long. good luck with it!

Welcome from Maine! Nice looking Sebring!

Thanks everyone. I'm having a heck of a time getting this car back on the road already, brake lights are kicking my butt. But the little I've driven the car so far, the more I like it. It's been a long time since I've gotten to play with a rwd v8 car. Very different kind of adrenaline rush from the fwd s/c v6 that I've been playing with for the past 4 years.
